124 Spider - Scottish Italian Car Day @ St Andrews.

3 Spiders in all. Here's mine beside a great Abarth style version. Fantastic Corbeau Alpine seats - I gotta get me some of those! :-)A great day and the spider drove beautifully there and back. Much admired :-)

124 Spider - Today's list of jobs!

Fitted the new centre console cover and it looks pretty good. I screwed it down rather than sticking it as it'll be coming out soon enough when I put the new carpets in.
I painted the tan radio console black to match.
I am having difficulty working out how to attach the new gearstick boot mind!
Also replaced the rear-view mirror, speedo cable (yep, the bodged glue job failed) and air-filter.Another long awaited job was fitting the wires down either side of the soft top - still unsure how they attach to the front though as it just doesn't look right where I've put them hooking the loops over a couple of split pins - can't see any other obvious way though.
Now, I NEED A BEER!!!

124 Spider - Lucky me.

Hey, lucky me! I just won(?) a '68-82 Fiat Spider 124 2000 Center Console Cap Overlay 1' in black on ebay for $63. This could be step 1 of my tan to black interior change. If its any good then I'll get an upper console one too.

124 Spider - New rear plate...

Before...and after...
probably deemed illegal by the fun police so it can easily be removed to show the yellow one still underneath :-)
