Hi, thanks for dropping by - I've moved over to wordpress and I'm no longer maintaining this one. Please head over to http://24heuer.com cheers, Andy...
Outside and ready to go...err...to get the suspension and brakes sorted...The work's being undertaken by Martin Scott a complete petrol head also in Edinburgh. Unfortunately a few unexpected problems came to light - on one rear corner the mount where the shock attaches has broken off and a new one needs to be fabricated and welded in place.
Caught up with a few bits and pieces like refitting the 1/4-light catches for about the 100th time! Lets hope this glue does the trick. This time I roughened up the catch and the glass with some sandpaper before sticking so fingers crossed :-)
Here's an exploded view of the infamous Heuer Automatic Chronograph movement with some shots of one of my own below...This one's marked 'SX'. It also has a small 'I' to indicate the modded version with improved date rollover etc. Those with a keen eye will also spot the blocking lever (8200) is missing.
